Aquarium on Wheels provides an opportunity for Baltimore City and Baltimore County high school students to participate in a three-phase afterschool work-study experience designed to introduce the world of science and careers in the aquarium field.
The program includes three parts:
- Training and field trips to learn about aquatic organisms, cooperative skills, and teaching techniques.
- Creation of two original plays and two animal labs.
- Summertime performance of plays on the road at Enoch Pratt Free Library branches throughout the city.
Requirements
Students must be enrolled in grades 9–12 at a Baltimore City or Baltimore County school and must be at least 14 years old.
How to Apply
Applications for the 2011–2012 school year were due September 26, 2011. Come back in 2012 to apply for the 2012–2013 school year.
